Eric has been accepted into a number of PhD programs in math. Although the decision is not final yet, it looks like he will be on the East Coast.
Rachel, Eric, David and Amy
Rachel is expecting to obtain her Master's this May from Arizona State University. Natalia (Eric's girlfriend) is expected to obtain her Master's, also in May, from Colorado State. David and Amy can't wait to go Out West for the happy events.
David is still bike commuting to work and about town. He is employed full-time at the University of Pittsburgh working at the Pennsylvania/MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center (located at the Graduate School of Public Health), and still teaching at Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
Amy is a regular attendee at Curves; working out a few times/week and loving it. She is working full-time at the East Liberty Branch of Carnegie Library.
Java, the Wonder Dog, is slowly mellowing! Whether it's attributable to her age, or nine years of psychotropic medication is debatable. She turned 12 years old in January 2009.
Speaking of dogs- Amy and David have their first grand-furchild. Rachel and Greg recently adopted a three year old mixed poodle from a shelter in Phoenix, Arizona where they live and teach.
David and Amy have now been married for more than 33 years. Amy could have obtained a lesser sentence for a homicide!!
